Best Outlook Email View Changed: How to Customize Your Inbox

If you’re tired of looking at the same old thing every time you log into your Outlook email, it’s time to spruce things up with these five different views. Each of these will help you read and reply to emails more efficiently, helping you to maximize your productivity in the process. Follow these steps, and in no time, you’ll have mastered Outlook!

Choosing a Theme

Whether you’re a fan of the new look or not, it’s easy to outlook view changed email back to how it was. To customize your inbox in Outlook, click on the View tab and then select Change View. From there, you can choose from a list of different views, including the classic view. If you want to further customize your inbox, you can click on the Customize Current View option.

So when the way we view our email changes, it can be really frustrating! Microsoft has introduced new default settings that may not be ideal for you. In order to customize your inbox settings, go into Settings>Email and follow these steps: 1) Click Save 2) Scroll down until you see Default Mail App 3) Select your preferred default mail app from the list 4) Click Save 5) Check out your inbox!

Creating Tabs

Tabs are a great way to organize your inbox and make things look neater. You can create tabs for different types of email, such as work or personal, and then drag and drop emails into the appropriate tab. To create a tab, click on the More button in the top right corner of your inbox and select Create new tab. Give your tab a name and then click OK. You can now drag and drop emails into this tab.

Adding and Removing Columns

Outlook’s email view has changed and you may not like it. To change the columns that are displayed in your inbox, click on the View tab and then Change View. From there, you can add or remove columns by selecting or deselecting them. You can also reorder the columns by clicking and dragging them. When you’re done, just press OK and your changes will be saved.

A new column was added to my mailbox called Unread which displays all of my unread emails in a single column so I am now going to have to customize my view again.

To move an item from one folder to another, right-click on the message and select Move > Folder (or something similar). Then type in the destination folder name and hit Enter.
