If you’re looking for classic rock discussion forums, you’ve come to the right place. Classic Rock Forums can provide you with an invaluable resource of information on all things “classic rock.” From lead singers and influences to guitar sounds and much more, this online community can help you connect with other fans of this genre. Here are three great places to find classic rock discussion forums. Listed below are a few of my favorites.

Music from the “classic rock” era

Classic rock is defined as music popularized during the mid-1960s. This era is synonymous with live performances, authenticity, and the group as a creative unit. Its primary instrument was the guitar. The music was inspired by the classical Romanticism of art and culture. The Rolling Stones and Fleetwood Mac became icons and influenced generations of rock fans. Despite these characteristics, classic rock remains an elusive genre, and many critics and fans consider it as the best era of popular music.

Lead singers

In rock music, a lead singer is typically one of the band members. Other members of the band may contribute background vocals or harmonies, but the singer has the main role. During the classic rock era, there was often more than one lead singer. Some of the greatest bands of all time used several lead singers. These bands are often referred to as multi-lead bands. But, not all multi-lead singer groups are equal.

Guitar sound

I’m sure you’ve seen the arguments over guitar sound in classic rock forums. These are largely tribalism, and the main goal of a definition is to exclude people who don’t fit the label. If that were the case, I would probably go for a more lenient definition. But that’s just me. Here are some thoughts on what classic rock guitarists should be doing:

Influences

There are many influences in the history of Classic Rock. One of the earliest roots of rock and roll can be traced to slavery. The African American slaves found solace in singing. Although the slaves were often incarcerated in filthy conditions, their music was popular enough to gain popularity. The first popular bands to capture the American public’s attention were The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and Elvis Presley.
