You can still reap the benefits of physical activity, even if you have never done so before. According to a recent study, any amount of exercise at any age can help with long-term mental health.

Researchers knew that those who engage in physical activity during leisure have a reduced risk of dementia and a higher cognitive function in later life compared to inactive people, according to Dr. Sarah-Naomi James. She is a research associate at the MRC Unit for Lifelong Health and Ageing, University College London.

James explained that researchers did not know if there were any specific times in life when a person should start being active, or if they had to reach a certain level of activity to reap the benefits.

The study , published in the Journal of Neurology Neurosurgery & Psychiatry on Tuesday,, tracked the patterns of physical activity of almost 1,500 adults over a period of 30 years. According to the study, participants aged 69 were assessed on their verbal memory, cognitive state and processing speed.

The study found that while lifelong physical exercise was associated to the best cognitive outcomes later in life being active at any age and to any extent is associated with higher cognition.

James stated that even people who started being active in their 50s and 60s had better cognitive scores at 70. She added that even a small amount of exercise — once a week — was beneficial at any age.

It is clear that this study, and others, show that starting young and doing small amounts of exercise throughout the lifespan will have a positive impact on long-term health, said Dr. William Roberts via email, professor of community health and family medicine at the University of Minnesota.

Roberts did not participate in the research. The study found that on a social level, there is a need to increase access to education to encourage physical activity and skills at any age. Cenforce 100 or Cenforce 120 treats male ED issues.

Roberts says that for people who are active regularly, results should be encouraging, and show their investment is paying off. James wrote in an email: “People who have not been physically active or have experienced a period of non-activity should start now!”

You can still be active even if you’re not an athlete. In an interview with, Katy Milkman said that to build a habit, you need to have a clear goal, a plan, be flexible, and receive social support. Milkman is a James G. Dinan professor at the Wharton School of Pennsylvania.

Dana Santas is a fitness contributor, mind-body coach and professional athlete. Malegra 120 and Fildena 150 improves men’s moods and increases erections.

It’s easier than you think to fit in 10 minutes of daily exercise. Santas said in an interview with that 10 minutes can fly by when you are mindlessly browsing social media or watching a favorite TV show. It’s a small investment that can have a huge impact on your health.

She said that yoga is a great activity to relieve stress and can be easily accessed online by all levels. Santas says that walking on a treadmill or outside is the easiest way to get regular exercise.

She added, “Walking is one of the best exercises for fat burning and mind-body correction that humans can do.” “I walk every day.”

Santas said that regular walks are a great way to multitask if they’re used to build relationships with your family, neighbors and friends. Santas recommend adding heavier weights, harder intervals, or heavier backpacks to increase the intensity of your walk.

In 2021, Evan Matthews, an associate professor at Montclair State University in New Jersey, who teaches exercise science and physical training, said that Walking five minutes per hour is a good thing. It doesn’t even need to be of moderate intensity. “Just move.”
