Samsung is bringing its new line of mid-range smartphones to Mexico. Specifically, we are talking about the new Galaxy J5 Pro and J7 Pro, Newly arrived Mobiles in Bangladesh. which incorporate metal bodies and glass with a curved perimeter.
Both mobiles share the same design. An aluminum back with visible antenna bands and its photographic system encapsulated in a small section.
The J5 Pro has a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Samsung opted to mount an AMOLED panel even when it is a mid-range model.
The processor is an Exynos 7870 (Octa-core 1.6 GHz) signed by Samsung itself, and being the “Pro” model it incorporates 3GB RAM and 32GB storage expandable via microSD. Its battery is 3000 mAh.
Although we will have to wait to know its autonomy.
The cameras are thirteen megapixels, both for the front and the rear. In both cases, the sensors are accompanied by an LED flash to improve photos in dimly lit environments.
On the other hand we have its older brother, the J7 Pro. This model increases the size of its screen to 5.5 inches and its resolution to 1920 x 1080 pixels, but maintains the use of an AMOLED panel.
From there on out, in hardware and cameras, we have the same characteristics: Exynos 7870 chip, 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage; the main and secondary cameras are thirteen megapixels with LED flash.

South Korean Samsung continues to expand its mobile catalog for Mexico. Today they announced the launch and start of marketing of two smartphones from their Galaxy J family that aim to cover the highly competitive mid-range market.
Specifically, the new Galaxy J5 and J7 are arriving in Mexico , phones with common technical specifications of the mid-range, but trying to differentiate with the incorporation of an LED flash in the front camera, in fact they are the first Samsung models that bet on it.
In its announcement, last June, we made a thorough review of all its technical specifications, although we can remember the most important ones. The Galaxy J5 is the more discreet of the two, its screen is five inches with HD resolution, and inside it houses a Snapdragon 410 chipset, with 16GB of storage and 1.5GB of RAM.
The Galaxy J7 is slightly larger and more powerful. Its screen goes up to 5.5 inches while inside it incorporates a Snapdragon 615 chipset, also with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.
The operating system they run is Android version 5.1.1 Lollipop , and they have 4G/LTE connectivity in addition to the classic WiFi and Bluetooth.
But on top of the technical characteristics, the photographic section stands out. There we find a 13-megapixel main camera with f/1.9 aperture, although the five-megapixel front sensor accompanied by an LED flash is more important . This section makes it clear that both phones are focused on young audiences.
Price and availability:
These new Galaxy J Pro 2017 will begin to be sold in Mexico starting this week. Their prices are 7,489 pesos for the Galaxy J7 Pro and 6,389 pesos for the Galaxy J5 Pro. The only colors in which they will be available are black and gold.
