Jeddah stay for Umrah pilgrims

All pilgrims (both Hajj and Umrah) land at either Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz Airport in Madinah or King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. Jeddah International Airport is the main place where pilgrims from all over the world land, so it is always busy. However, pilgrims can also land at Madinah Airport. The airport is smaller and less busy than the airport in Jeddah. Because of this, it can serve Umrah pilgrims more quickly, cleanly, and quickly than the airport in Jeddah. Even though Jeddah and Makkah are only about an hour apart, it can take a pilgrim as long as 12 hours to reach the holy city of Makkah. For a peaceful cheap umrah packages manchester bookings, you have to do a lot of paperwork, go through the immigration process, and move your bags. Pilgrims have to wait for these hours so that the airport can take care of its business. After that, they can go to either Makkah or Madinah.

Pilgrims are not allowed to stay in Jeddah, but they can spend the time they need to finish their paperwork here. There are rules about where pilgrims can live, and Jeddah is not one of them. Jeddah is always full of thousands of people, and if it also became a place to stay, the crowds would be too big for the government to handle.

If you’re going during Hajj season (to perform Hajj, which you can also do with Umrah), you’ll need to be patient. If you’re doing Umrah at a time other than Hajj season, it will be less stressful. Some of the steps are different from those for Hajj, and you have to spend a short amount of time at the airport.

An Umrah pilgrim must know a few things before he gets to his hotel in Jeddah, where he will spend 10 to 12 hours. These things will make his stay easy and pleasant.

Which terminal to use; King Abdul Aziz International Airport has three in total: the South or Domestic Terminal, the North or International Terminal, and the Hajj/Umrah Terminal (situated next to the International Terminal; at North). All Hajj and Umrah pilgrims are processed at the Hajj/Umrah Terminal. It is one of the biggest airport terminals in the world because it is about 5 million square feet. The roofs of the terminal are made of fibreglass and look like big white tents. This not only gives passengers comfort but also makes for a beautiful sight. The lack of walls lets air flow through the terminal naturally, and the roof protects people from the direct sun, making it easy for travellers to start their trip in Saudi Territory. In the Hajj/Umrah Terminal, 50,000 pilgrims can stay for up to 18 hours when they arrive, and 80,000 pilgrims can stay for up to 36 hours when they leave.

People who do Umrah outside of Hajj season have to go to either the South or North Terminal. If this is your first Umrah and you don’t know where to go, ask your travel agent, a travel agency, or the airline you are flying with.

Make sure to fill out the disembarkation card that the cabin crew gives you before you get off the plane. If it hasn’t been given yet, you should ask for it. Once you get off the plane, make sure you don’t leave anything behind. After that, you’ll get on a shuttle bus that will take you right to the Hajj/Umrah terminal.

No waft will be given. Unlike Hajj pilgrims, Umrah pilgrims who arrive at Jeddah airport do not need a draught or check, so there won’t be a Mutawwif office for them. Also, transportation for Umrah pilgrims will not be given in the form of travel coupons.

Getting transportation set up is the next step. Getting around is one of the most important parts of Hajj and Umrah. Pilgrims will get travel coupons at Hajj so they can get to their designated place. But Umrah pilgrims don’t get travel coupons, so they have to plan and pay for their own transportation to Makkah and Madinah. Outside the terminal, there are taxis, rental cars, and other ways to get around. If someone you know is waiting to pick you up, the trip will be easier.

Your passport will stay with you. When a pilgrim goes to perform Hajj, his passport is taken and kept at the Mutawwif office for the duration of Hajj. When the pilgrim leaves, his passport is returned to him. The idea is to keep the passport safe and secure so it doesn’t get lost in the chaos of the spree. During Umrah, this won’t be the case because the pilgrims’ passports will be given back to them after they clear immigration and customs. The passports will be available at the “Tehsiliya” office, where you will first be electronically registered. Then, the staff will lead the pilgrims to their transportation (if it has already been set up) and give the passport to the driver, who will give it back to you when you reach your lodging. If you don’t have a way to get home (like a rented car or a friend), make sure to get your passport back from the Tehsiliya office or the person holding it. It is against the law to keep Umrah pilgrims’ passports outside of the Hajj season if you want to book Islamic travel umrah packages 2023.
