OBC Internet Banking is a service offered by the Oriental Bank of Commerce that allows customers to conduct banking transactions online. Customers can transfer money, pay their bills and check their balances, all from the comfort of their homes or office. They can also perform online shopping. Aside from this, customers can also add beneficiaries and add recurring deposits.
In order to use the services of the OBC Internet Banking portal, customers must first register. For this, customers will need to provide their mobile number, PAN card number, and login id. Users will also need to set a password and accept the terms and conditions of the bank’s Internet Banking Service.
Once the registration process is complete, users can then begin their OBC Internet Banking account. The portal will send an OTP to the customer’s registered mobile number. This OTP will be used to verify the customer’s mobile number. Upon receiving the OTP, the user will be prompted to enter the code to proceed.
How to Reset Your OBC Internet Banking Password
After submitting the information, the customer will be notified of his Customer ID and reference number. He can also download the net banking application from the bank’s website. It is important to keep this reference number for future reference.
If the customer has not received the customer ID, he can call the bank and request it. Alternatively, he can visit the bank’s branch and fill out an application form. Upon receipt of the completed form, the bank will generate a user id and reference number for the customer. These are then stored in the bank’s database.
Once the customer has received his Customer ID and Reference Number, he can then register for OBC Net Banking. He will then be prompted to provide his debit card details and transaction password. To complete this, he must enter the amount and the transaction date.
As soon as the OBC customers complete the registration process, they will receive an OTP to their mobile number. To verify their mobile number, they can enter the OTP into the verification box. When they are prompted to enter the password, they will need to choose a different transactional password. However, their new transactional password should be different from their login password.
If the customer fails to remember their password, they can choose to reset their password. The bank will send an SMS to the registered cellphone number. Those who have forgotten their password will need to follow the instructions in the SMS message to recover their password.
Once the customer has completed the process, the OBC bank will then validate the information. Upon validation, the customer will be prompted to enter their User ID and password. Lastly, they will be notified that their Internet Banking service has been activated. Depending on the type of account, the user will be able to access several features.
