Belize is becoming a popular destination for property investors. It offers affordable prices, easy purchasing and low taxes.

San Pedro

There are a number of properties for sale in San Pedro, including waterfront homes on the beach. However, they aren’t as plentiful as other areas of the island, noted Joanne Waight, a real estate agent with RE/MAX All Star in Belize.

Ambergris Caye

If you’re looking for an island paradise, look no further than Ambergris Caye in Belize. It’s a palm-fringed Caribbean Sea coast famed for its beaches, diving, and proximity to the Belize Barrier Reef and Great Blue Hole.

There are a wide variety of property options on Ambergris Caye, with homes for sale and condos to suit every budget. The island’s main town, San Pedro, has a well-developed real estate market with beachfront condos for sale and ocean view houses to the north and south of the city.

The north of the island is less developed and boasts some of the finest pristine beaches on the island. However, the north also has a more restricted supply of land for development than the southern section, so prices are higher in this area. Beachfront property within 8 miles of San Pedro starts from around $3 500-5 000 USD per front foot.

Placencia

Placencia, Belize is one of the most popular destinations for real estate investment in the Caribbean. It boasts beautiful beaches, lush jungles, and vibrant culture.

The modern history of Caye Caulker started around 1847 when a few Mestizo refugees from the Mexican Caste War settled on the island and formed what would become Caye Caulker Village. Luciano Reyes purchased lots on the island in 1870, and many of his descendants still live there today.

Caye Caulker is one of the smallest islands in Belize, and a popular travel destination for budget travelers. It is known for its stunning seascapes and diverse water sports, eco-tours, and friendly community.
