Renewal of Re-entry Permit (REP)

In addition to renewing your PR status, you must also renew your Re-entry Permit (REP) if you plan to travel out of Singapore. The REP allows PRs to retain their PR status while they are out of Singapore, and on their return, they can resume working in the country. Repatriating PRs need a valid REP, because unlike PRs who have already received Permanent Residence, PRs who have not yet been awarded Permanent Residence do not have a visa to enter Singapore.

Cost of Re-entry Permit (REP)

The cost of applying for a Re-entry Permit is SGD 300. Customers must pay the application fee within six months before the expiry date of their current REP. The application fee is non-refundable regardless of whether you are granted a new REP or not.
