The MBBS in China for Pakistani Students in 2023

For an international potential medical student, English medium government universities to study MBBS in China are the greatest and most acceptable choice for studying MBBS, however just a few universities are best for Pakistani students for a variety of reasons. Only English medium universities in China are officially permitted by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to teach international students in English; these universities are also known as “Listed universities,” and only these universities can provide MBBS programs.

NICE Consultants (Pvt) Ltd. has 25 years of service expertise and is glad to offer you our assistance in gaining admission to MOE Listed and Top Ranked Medical Universities in China.

MOE’s list of English-medium public universities in China includes:

Annual expenses in the Listed English Medium Universities range from Rs. 12 to 14 lakhs Pak Rupee, which includes tuition, hostel, and meal charges.  The MBBS curriculum consists of five years of study and one year of internship, for a total of six years to complete the program and obtain a degree. While the entire MBBS program costs Rs. 75 to 80 lakhs Pak Rupees to complete.

Unfortunately, most individuals in Pakistan are unaware of the “MOE Listed” English language universities that are legally permitted to offer to study MBBS in China. Bilingual universities are those that are not taught in English. Their yearly spending runs from Rs. 7.5 lakhs to Rs. 8.5 lakhs Pak Rupees, which includes all expenses such as tuition, housing, and food.

Students eligible to apply to English medium universities include:

A student must have a minimum of 70% in FSc pre-medical and a minimum of 60% in major subjects. If a student does not maintain the same grades, he or she will be unable to apply to these MOE-listed universities.

Bilingual Universities for MBBS in China:

Bilingual universities (bilingual) combine Chinese and English mediums, and the number of Pakistani students attending these universities is rising due to reduced tuition. Although the majority of them do not provide MBBS degrees, a handful does. The HSK4 is a one-year Chinese language course that is required to qualify; otherwise, it is not possible to continue medicine lessons in the second year.

Disadvantages of bilingual universities are as follows:

  • The sadness is that many students who do not study diligently do not even qualify, and if they do, they are expelled from institutions and then stay in hotels to acquire new admissions (which they frequently conceal from their families).
  • Bilingual universities give medicine lessons in English, but there is a risk that they will abruptly switch back to Chinese at any point. As in the past, several universities were bilingual and taught medicine in English for the second year before switching to Chinese medium, forcing all students to either study in Chinese or re-enroll at another university. (Because migration to China is not even an option), and it’s all at your own risk, certain universities, such as Taishan Medical University, Jining Medical University, and many more, have abruptly returned to the Chinese medium.
  • Remember that any student who has medicine classes in Chinese will have difficulty enrolling in PMC in Pakistan because students studying abroad must be educated in English.

There are only a few reliable bilingual Chinese universities that offer medical classes in English:

Although it is difficult to claim responsibility for complete bilingual universities, a handful that have been the greatest in our experience are best for seeking potential students who have less than 70% or wish to study medicine at a low cost.

We can provide our expertise and recommendations. Decide calmly, as it is not something to buy cheaply and later regret. It is a waste of time and money that will not restore your future.
