William Henry Gates III, also known as Bill Gates, was born in a successful family on the 28th of October, 1955, in Seattle, Washington, United States. His father, Bill Gates Sr., was a lawyer, and Mary Maxwell, his mother, was on the board of directors for First Interstate BancSystem as well as the local United Way of America. Gates has an older sister, named Kristi (Kristianne) as well as a younger sister, named, Libby.
