Initially, Gurleen took coaching for her preparation, then she focused on her self-study and improved her preparation on her own with the help of her loved ones. They motivated her a lot during her low times when she was not able to clear in her earlier attempts.
Although she cleared PCS, she was not satisfied with her as her ultimate goal was to clear this examination because she wanted to contribute and help the society on a larger scale because she had seen the problems of people while doing her internship during her medical days.Â
It was very difficult for her to maintain a balance between her studies and her duty as she did not take leave from her job, but she remained disciplined and focused and her unwavering faith has ultimately paid off and she passed this examination with flying colors.Â
During her preparation, she used to wake up early in the morning and give herself a few hours to study before leaving for work, and then after coming home from her job, she used to study for a few hours. All of this she could do because of support from her mother, who helped her to remain focused and dedicated and she made sure that she followed her routine and focused on her goal.Â
Also, her teacher, Ranjhana Sharma, became her mentor in this journey and helped her a lot. She focused on improving her weaknesses and building a strong foundation, which ultimately allowed her to pass this tough examination. Apart from that, she gave many mock tests and analyzed them. She also focused on the previous year’s question papers to make her preparation better.Â
She did not go for multiple resources; her resources were very limited, but she revised it many times and was able to write good answers during her examination.
