Dress To Impress:
The way you dress determines the interviewer’s first impression of you. So, unless you are specifically told about the dress code for the interview, always assume that it is formal or semi-formal. You could never go wrong with suits that fit perfectly, not too tight and not too loose either. Also, choose dark and neutral tones rather than shiny and flashy ones. Within 24 hours of the interview, send a thank-you note via email and let them know that you will wait for their response. Ensure that the thank-you email is not too lengthy. Following up with them will make you stand out from other candidates.
Even if you do not want to work for the company, be mature enough to send them a thank-you letter explaining why you have decided to go other ways. This will help you in building a good network for future references.
